"Spring has Sprung" Giveaway

This past week the weather has finally gotten warm enough in Michigan that I could send the boys outside to play without coats, hats and boots. There are signs of spring everywhere; the grass is turning green, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the birds are singing.

I love Spring!!!!

I had a day this past week where I wanted to sew, but I didn't want to sew bags. I wanted to do something different, so I looked through my pattern box and found this adorable dress.

Seeing how I have no girls, I want to give this one away.

Handmade Products

I don't know if you have been following the news about the new law that was suppose to take place on Feb 10, 2009 in which it was going to be mandatory that all products that were being marketed for children 0-12 had to be lead tested and certified.

While after the past few months of worrying whether or not I will be able to continue carrying the products(pillows, taggies, burp cloths) I have that are geared towards kids, this past Friday I learned that the CPSA has granted a one year stay on product testing for lead. Which is great news!!! I will be able to have these products available to you for at least one more year.

I am so thankful to God for answering many prayers that were said on this issue.
